2012/2013 Leagues
Definitions of Terms
- Men's Social
- An all male, non-pressure, fun league where the focus is on learning the game and having fun. Teams are put together by the drawmaster and switched around a few times during the season.
- Men's Competitive
- An all male, competitive league where curlers enter as a team and stay together the entire season.
- Ladies' Social
- An all female, non-pressure, fun league where the focus is on learning the game and having fun. Teams are put together by the drawmaster and switched around a few times during the season.
- Open Social
- An league where teams are put together by the drawmaster in any combination of men and women. Teams are switched around a few times during the season. Note: Any daytime social league has a very relaxed atmosphere and scores are not always tracked.
- Open Competitive
- A league where teams can be comprised of any combination of men and women. Curlers enter as a team and stay together the entire season.
- Mixed Social
- A league where teams are comprised of two men and two women. Teams are put together by the drawmaster and switched around a few times during the season. This Friday night league is comprised of mostly couples.
